Why can't fleet wash water go down a floor drain or storm drain?
Wash water carries oils, solids, and other contaminants picked up from vehicles and equipment. Discharging it untreated into a floor drain or storm drain is typically regulated under local, state, and federal wash water disposal rules, so a closed-loop containment and treatment system is the practical way to stay compliant.
What size water treatment system does a fleet need?
It depends on the dirt load. The Standard Water Treatment System (RTS 500) suits light to moderate loads like indoor rental equipment and oily and greasy applications, the Intermediate Water Treatment System (RTS 3000) handles moderate to heavy mud and can be deployed in an ISO container, and the Heavy-Duty Water Treatment System (RTS 5000) is built for the heaviest loads, like waste haulers and construction equipment.
Can a fleet wash system be relocated between sites?
Yes. Systems like the Intermediate Water Treatment System (RTS 3000) are transportable in a standard ISO container, making them a fit for fleets that need to relocate wash operations or deploy to a new site when paired with Above Ground Wash Racks.
